What are the specification and how do I set up my M5 Trainer

In this article we look at the specifications and set up of the JetBlack M5 Trainer.

  • Size after folding: 616 (W) x 475 (L) x 135 (H) mm - 24.3 x 18.7 x 5.3 inches
  • Total Weight: 9.5kgs - 24.5lbs
  • Resistance System: Magnetic
  • Resistance Levels: 5 via a lever on the resistance unit
  • Roller Material: Aluminium
  • Axle Compatibility: 130mm, 135mm (QR and Bolt up axles) 12mm x 142mm with trainer axles. Will suit most bikes with axle width 120mm and 150mm
  • Wheel Size Compatibility: 26", 27.5", 29", 700c and some 24" bikes

Using Apple iPhone or iPads.​

You need a ANT+ /BLE Speed cadence sensor. Recommend JetBlack Speed/Cadence or Garmin Speed/Cadence. ANT+ Dongle, we recommend the Wahoo ANT+ dongle for best results. Check out wahoofitness.com

Lightning Pin Adaptor is required for iPhone 5/6 and 7 users and new generation iPad users.

Must be 4.3 or better. No ANT+ Dongle required.
